Lighting your garden and landscape is important so you can enjoy your home and grounds as much at night as you do during the day. With Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of Augusta and Lake Oconee, we can help you with this. There are several types of garden and tree lighting we design and install.
Flower garden lighting
There is an art to lighting flowers and gardens. With good lighting, you will be able to see and appreciate both the colors and the texture of the various items in your garden. Good lighting renders the colors of your items similarly to how they look with natural sunlight.
In the picture below, you see path lighting integrated into the garden and shrubs lining the hardscape accent wall. Notice how you can see the colors of the flowers as well as being able to clearly see the retaining wall.
In the photo below, you are able to clearly see the red trees to the side of the house. You want your lighting designer to work with you to determine the important parts within your landscape to illuminate and highlight.
In the picture below, you’ll notice the bunch of trees in the foreground of the picture. The owners wanted to highlight the trees in the yard as well as the trees and shrubs close to the house. Our outdoor lighting design specialist works with you to come up with the best lighting for your home and garden.
Looking at the picture below, you notice the amount of detail that is evident with this plant even at night. It’s important not to have a flood of light or a light that’s overly bright. You want gentle light that illuminates instead of floods your garden with light.
